Community Energy Advocacy Training
Description: More often than not, our communities are left out of the decisions that impact us, and this is especially true regarding energy. In the coming months, the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) will make major decisions about the energy future of our communities. Thus far, we haven't seen efforts to ensure that low-income communities and communities of color are represented. This training will empower members to understand how the MPSC's decisions impact us, how DTE tries to shape those decisions, and how we can intervene effectively for cleaner, cheaper, and more responsible energy in our communities.
You do NOT need to be an expert to attend this training - it is for EVERYONE regardless of skill or experience!
Food and childcare will be provided. Please CLICK HERE to fill out the request form in addition to RSVPing on this page.
