Fellowship Summary: Soulardarity and MEJC are hiring four (4) fellows to work with our campaign from May through August 2020. Fellow will provide support to the WFMDTE Campaign, its Leadership Team and Energy Organizer to engage grassroots community and leaders to build energy democracy and climate justice in Michigan in response to the oppressive practices and policies of DTE Energy.

Responsibilities of the Fellows: Energy Fellows will serve as a support to the Work for Me DTE Campaign, the Energy Organizer and Core Leadership Team.

$2,000 will be paid by Soulardarity in exchange for fellows working with and reporting to Fellowship Program Coordinator throughout the program. Stipends will be paid half upfront, quarter midway, quarter at the close of the fellowship. In addition Fellows gain training and capacity building on energy democracy and environmental justice.

Important Fellowship Dates
Applications will be accepted (January-February), Hiring/Interviews (March-April 2020) and (Required) Team building and informational training sessions. Expect to commit ~6 hours per training day.
+ Training 1: May 9, 2020
+ Training 2 & 3: May 21 – 22, 2020
+ Training 4: May 30, 2020
