Passive Solar Heating Party

Join us for Soulardarity's second educational event of the year and continue learning to take control of your energy costs!

In this event, we will be making heating panels for your windows using nothing but cardboard, aluminum foil, and spray paint. Please arrive promptly at 2pm. We will briefly go over some basic concepts of how these devices work, the break out into groups and make our own. While the spray paint dries, we will have a conversation about where our power comes from and what Soulardarity is doing to make that more local, clean, and beneficial for our communities.

Light snacks will be provided, but if you are able, please bring a snack for the group to share!

This event is free for members. Non-members are asked to pay a $5-10 sliding scale fee. No one will be turned away for lack of funds, but please pay if you are able.
