Black Off The Grid: A Community Discussion
Join us at Nandi's Knowledge Cafe's Books Beats & Eats for a community discussion on the importance of energy independence in Highland Park. We will be centering our conversation around the book Black Birds in the Sky. "A searing new work of nonfiction from award-winning author Brandy Colbert about the history and legacy of one of the most deadly and destructive acts of racial violence in American history: the Tulsa Race Massacre."
For more information on our work, go to the link below, sign the pledge and give your input as an HP resident about having a publicly owned electric utility. Once you do, you will be eligible to be entered into our free raffle, which will be held at the event! See you there!
